RON!!Yes it's all been a Big Game finding parts and FUN too, to a point , Until you get obsesed with it ( UC) you can't even spell correctly LOL, my wifey only lets me work on the UC 6hrs a week and that good enough for me since I'm like you only with 8 months into a UC restoration ahead of JA!. But yes, part hunting is fun, cheaper if you can make stuff yourself too I say , anywho Cheers lad.

YHOS

Hi Guys,
Has anyone out there got a couple of spare petrol tanks for sale? If not does anyone have any damaged ones even rusty ones with their fittings still attached that I can use as patterns to make new ones

See Big Tyre.

One of our club members in Sydney found a company that could re-cast the road wheel rubber in a hard wearing Urethane at a fraction of the cost of vulcanised rubber. If you were able to make a mould yourself, or profile a crude casting on a lathe, contact a Urethane supplier like ERA for a hard urethane and do your own.
