Of course Bruce You'll only accept "run flat" Dunlop trac grip 900x16s.

And while I'm here Jordan, I hope your not planning to fit those new sprockets to your carrier with that worn track. I understand that's not a good move.

And lastly, How is tire/tyre correctly spelled in Canada? I thought you guys followed the Queens English. Is it multi choice now or is Canada now officially "Americanized?
Cheers,
Lynn.

Hi Lynn..
It's been "Tire" in Canada as long as I can remember and then there is "Canadian Tire Corporation",which has been around since the 50's and the Goodyear tire hand book from 1936 was a standard handbook in Canada, when tire loading for milk wagons and coal carts was critical as the weights by volume charts and lists in the back of the book atest..

As for speaking the Queens English,no we speak Canadian..pure unaccented English..as it was meant to be spoken...That is why so many foreign students come to our country..To learn English..with no accent..
We'll leave speaking the Queens English to y'all.....

Default Just lazy I think

It may be proximity to our southern friends, but some of us here try to keep to the real spelling of words. I don't drive on a "thru-way" and I won't buy house paint from "Color Your World".

Tire is too far gone to revert, but to me, anything shodding a CMP will, and can only ever be, a tyre.

And what's with the Oz P.M. coming here and actually saying something nice about Americans? Doesn't he know that ALL of us Canadians, well most of us, actually some of us. OK, a few lefty radicals...are rabidly anti-American, those evil oil sucking imperialists.

Alex, I am not trying to be a smart ass know it all, but when you said CTC started in the 50's it got me wondering. I have a bunch of catalogues from the 30's so I Googled and came up with September 1922. I think Brian Gough has been collecting Canadian Tire money since 1943, his birth year.
I also have a 1942 Snap On catalogue. The price of a tool box was $100.00. I can now buy that same size box at CTC for $100.00.
Cheers,
Barry

Bruce
I have a friend in Alberta who is importing a bunch of new Ferret tires on rims. He has no interest in Carrier stuff mind you. I think the price will be about $500 cdn each. PM me if you want more info on them. Maybe you can catch the stuff before it is transported all the way to the wrong (right) end of the country.
