|  Blitz derrick 
			
			From memory the ford parts books '42 on? mentions a blitz derrick. Has anyone seen a photo or know anything about them. I have seen them mentioned anywhere else. There maybe one in my local area  which is supposedly an original ex-army truck. If they existed how common were they. Many thanks to those who care to reply Chris |

			The truck I think you may be thinking of is an original, in as far as it's an ex-Army Derrick. See the first pic in  this thread.

			Tony's right... the derrrick also appeared on 'Lorries', or modified conventional pattern trucks.

			Tony's picture is the exact truck i was referring to. Ford f60l with canvas doors. I remember it having a motor between cab and crane. It sit in a scrapyard with 3 other blitzes. Is it a hand operated crane?. |
