Hello, just letting you all know that at christmass time I will be selling my 1944 or 45 can't remember Ford Blitz Dump. It is in good condition
Australian model 20" rims dual wheels on the back and spaced front wheels has spent quite a few years under cover (it used to live in a south Aust museum and past 3 yrs in my garage) no rust wheel cylinders solid, good brake linings approx 95% complete needs door tops, wipper blades, new tyres as tyres on vehicle are not great, seats needs covering. steel tray with gm hydralics (has dent in tail gate) new canvas doors, window flap, rear mud flaps, and window/door curtain bag for behind the seats. olive green paint job has the tool box and wheel ramp with spare wheel + 2 new mismatched tyres 1xcrosscut and 1xconventional (looks like olympic steel trecks) both 20" Iwas told that it did run, but I haven't started it, the engine does turn freely Also have workshop book (ford) parts manual (chev) and a new hydraulics manual. Please ask any questions and i will try to answer them, the truck is in Qld and I am in Bonegilla with the Army p-j-macleod@hotmail.com or philip.macleod@defence.gov.au What would be a reasonable price i was thinking around the $3500.00 Aus Last edited by macca; 10-07-06 at 13:58. |

Hi Phil
If this is the same truck I arranged the sale for, I have buckets of images. I also posted a lot of them onto the forum a while back for someone who was interested in the ram arrangements. Bob |

G-day Bob,
Yes it is the same truck, I had all good intentions of doing her up but work got in the way with a couple of 6 month deployments and now being down in Vic for 2 years and it deserves agood home to go to. If you wouldn't mind posting a few pics it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Phil. |

Ohh the joys of army postings...
I dragged my CGT #9 from base to base for 15 years... supose I should be thankfull I did not have the Stuart and LVT4 Buffallo through those years. Though my FV1600 Humber and Austin champ did get some attention at my last 5 year posting. Probly 1 reason why I got myself10 acers only 55ks from the base. Phil... ![]()
