Hi David:
Yes it is, a 1941 model. You can tell this by the small side lights on each side of the grille which you were lucky enough to be able to see in your photo. Sorry, from our friend's site on Lend Lease vehicles. Bill

I assume it's a three tonner or thereabouts...and is that a chrome grille? Looks civvy to me rather than military.

Hi David:
2 1/2 tons US rating. The photo I used was only to show the side lights. Such vehicles were sold in Europe, mostly in Scandinavian/Baltic countries, especially Norway and Sweden before the war and therefore your example could well have been an impressed/beute vehicle. So I don't get yelled at by Hanno or other Low Country types, they sold also pretty well in Holland and Belgium but we are talking about a few hundred examples. As for the US, I would suspect none that our forces purchased ever made it overseas. The M series Inters, 4X4 and 6X6, particularly for the US Marines, were found all over the Pacific but I suspect that most that went East were taken by the Russians. Edit: Minor correction, some of these used by US Navy did end up in the ETO and the Brits also got a few. Bill
