Default Unknown part

Hi everyone

I just picked a couple of parts for my carrier today. There was one bracket in the pile that I havn't been able to identify.

There looks to be a partial part # on it "4304" with a possible "1" at the front. It is also stamped with FM Co 44. I know that stands for "Ford Motor Company 1944"

The part is 10" long.

Anyone have any ideas on what this part is?

Could it be a bracket for a fire-extinguisher?

Sorry Jordan, just a wild guess....
