Art, et al:
I'll be there as I have been pretty well since 1962. LCol Jack Lee, Past President of the Warrior's Day Council shanghaied me into Assistant Parade Marshall duties this year. My honour, since 2003 will most likely be my last year of attendance due to my moving to Owen Sound area one week after the parade. Probably just as well, since, as I get older, I get more emotional...

For the first time in 82 years, the Warrior's Day parade will not happen.
Due to the recent power black-out, no electrified public transit is operable, therefore the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) will not even open its doors until Monday , three days later than scheduled. Since 2003 is the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals, special events were to occur at Warrior's Day. Alas, not to be. ![]()
