| Commonwealth terminology

Hi Guys: You've done a fantastic job recreating Canadian and Commonwealth troops... some of the B&W shots are difficult to distinguish from wartime photos. My hat is off to you! A small terminology point: the US uses the term 'recon' whereas we us the term 'recce' (pronounced rek-key). Cheers! Mike

I concur with Mike re your B&W photos. Looks especially great when you have gone to the efforts of having correct kit etc...

Aye, recce, not recon ... my mistake. Thank you all for your very kind sentiments. I am very fortunate to have been surrounded by exceptional living historians in the pics. You and I all know what it takes to get it together so it looks just like back then. Let's just say that I was in very good company. Cheers , Johnnie . |
