Default Help # 2 please

This chassis-cab is a post-war job obviously, and it appears to be a CGT chassis with a cab off of another truck. Does that make sense please?

Default CGT???!!!

David, it would have to be the only 4X2 CGT ever made!

It looks to be a standard C15.

Is the cab appropriate? These people mixed and matched components that's why I ask. The suggestion was that this was a former CGT that was then used in the local water works, after the body had been removed. Doesn't ring true.

David, I concur with Keith. This looks like a standard 13 Cab C15, overhauled, and delivered without it's standard army rear body. Very useful truck in the inmmediate postwar years. Fit a water tank or whatever was needed, and the water works were good to go.
