WW1 Images site
Hi Guys and Gals,
I believe I already posted this link in the past, but in case not, here it is. I've spent a long time browsing the images. TONS of them ... don't forget when you choose an album there is also a link to more pages of that album  http://groups.msn.com/CanadaWorldWar...ngent/pictures I never know when I might come upon an important (to me and my family) photo or something else, so I persist, and in the persisting I learn about all sorts of things and other people ... they all come to life for me in the viewing and reading! Wow ... O live the internet combined with this drive in people to research and share their research about people and events of days gone by. What a wonderful WONDERFUL thing we have goin' on ....... Here is another link for WW1 images. Whats wonderful is that there are NAMES!!! Most images look to be from newspaper clippings.
I didn't scroll through all of the pages of images but all the photos on the first page seems to be mostly with men from KINGSTON area ... so if your father or Grandpa, other relatives from Kingston area served ... maybe you'll find a photo of them? WW1 Courts-Martials
Hi Guys and Gals,
I'm wondering of someone can tell me what WW1 offences this might refer to: Courts-Martials: Offences: Sections 6 (1b), 40 I've been googling like crazy and not coming up with anything telling me what these "sections" are or refer to, and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You! Karmen

I did a bit of digging online at www.nationalarchives.gov.uk and found that Section 40 is - Section 40 (Conduct to the prejudice of good order and military discipline) as a generalisation in a case of the 1940's - I believe this is the 'catch all' as we knew it - ie:if they can't get you on something else they'll sucker you with this one!!!!
