Default hello

GOOD EVENING GENTLEMEN AND LADIES

I would like to introduce myself to you as a owner of a Mk 2 Bren Gun Carrier

My name is Llewellyn Sidney and i am the unit commander of The South Wales Borderers WW2 Re-enactment Group who recently bought myself a Mk 2 Bren Gun Carrier

I am looking to restore her to a battling condition she is now running but needs some general work on her and some dressing

The reason why i am introducing myself is i have many questions and need lots of advise.
Its ok looking in books and at photos but its best to ask advise from people who own the iteam.

If you go to the the SWB website you can see some photos of the carrier in the back ground

or just go to the following link

http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n...ingtoplace.jpg

I will get some better pictures soon.

My first question is does anyone have photos of and the measurements of a Firing Rest Adaptor for the Bren Gun

More questions to follow

Cheers
Llewellyn

Hi mate

Welcome on board.
I own the MkII that is marked up South Wales borderers that was at War and Peace last year.
Not quiet sure the mount your asking about. Few more details.
Will you be taking her to W & P this year?

Barry
