Ive been told to come here by the hmvf boys so here i am. Is this a canadian Ford and i was wondering where is the serial number on this truck? it was rescued out of a local junk yard and the women that let the yard haul it off her property said that it was a 44. it looked civilian but the markings inside, and the steering wheel are what made me think otherwise. i havent had much time for this one though the duck project is taking a while!!

Is the engine original? Although some Canadian wartime Fords evidently used US engines, US and Canadian engines had different number series. Canadian engines say would tell you the Model Year, so that a "5" would be a 1944 Model, say. I would imagine that there is an i.d. plate somewhere on the dash or under the hood. There seems to be a plate on the dash.
