Flatheads

Hello everyone, I would like to know if there has been anyone that has installed a newer flathead ('49-'54) into their CMP? If you have, what modifications did you have to do? ie: modify the oil pan, install the older (pre '49) cam for the front mounted distributor which also gives clearance for the throttle linkage, or any modifications that are required to install the old transmision to the "new" engine?

Also, what are the colors for the engine, trans, and transfer case?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...I'll be tackling the engine this winter for a completion of the vehicle next fall (if all goes well!!!)
