Default New Discoveries

Hi All

Two more Carriers have surfaced owned by a guy wanting gauge and speedometer decals. Both are Vic Rail built with #533 being restored utilising #2106 as a donor. Owner cannot find any build dates or model on the rear ledge so #533 is possibly a 1941 LP2 and #2106 a 1942 LP2A. #533 has the number T14878 scripted on it and it bore cammo markings that allegedly were on it ex. Military sale.

Re. the build dates and model type, I always thought this was stamped on the rear ledge but with both these Vic Carriers, that isn't the case whereas the SA Carriers have this information. Comments anyone.

Tony, this guy contacted me through Cec. Do you have any details on T14878?

Bob
