Hi Bill, while I can see that the photo is indeed of a Chev I thought Imperial was Chrysler?

Hi Cliff:
It was a special for hire/limo vehicle marketed as a taxi in the US and as a prestige vehicle in Europe.
Here is a Belgian catalog photo and if you do a search on the word Imperial, I have posted this photo as well as some others over the years for David.

Default Imperials

The bodyshells were all the Fisher 1023 shared with the GMC GENERAL MOTORS CAB 0-37 and O-38. they were also imported into Canada (to 1939). There were three types, the third being assembled possibly exclusively by GM CONTINENTAL in Antwerp:

1023 STANDARD/MASTER 85 7-passenger no division
1223 MASTER/MASTER DE LUXE 7-passenger limo with division
1323 same but with 3/4 ton axles for taxi work
