We have one chev with an original motor C15 it can do 50mph but no recomended for constant traveling 40 to 45mph seems to be a good crusing speed. We have one C15 with a bedford motor it goes a little quicker, both are on 900 x 16. To get around 10 mile to the galon for the first C15 but the secound with the bedford gets 14-16 mile to the galon. We can get from yass to Corowa with out a fuel stop but there is a nice bakery on the way the blitz knows to pull in there.
One the dirt they travel fairly well. On our trip in land it handled the gravel and dirt roads better than a modern vehicle as the tyres are alot more solid than on modern vehicles. Talking about driving blitzes we must go and put ours away before it rains, we hope |

Now that would be Holbrook, I think. ![]() When we first got our Bedford QL on the road, our first journey was 120 miles and it worked out at 15 mpg. Only because we were driving cautiously, never happened again, nearer 10 now. Richard |

This is a term used to denote the speed at which one of Max Hedges' CMPs will travel under a range of conditions. It may also be used to describe the top speed of a Carrier herding sheep.

Hey, Keith...great slag on Max...He'll get you for that...Yass and all! How are you doin', ol' buddy? When will you grace us with your presence in Southwestern Ontario, Republic of Wherever...again? The pictures of you flying in the various aircraft are great. A shit-eating grin is only accomplished by those who have been there!
