Default Exercise Bumper 1941 England

Hello, a quick intro to myself, some of you may recognise me from another forum. Currently restoring a 1944 Morris C8 which is coming along albeit slowly! Also have a 1942 Willys and currently a landrover FFR.
I have been looking at this site for a good while and there is some great input, I hope to contribute to that.
I have recently been made aware of an op carried out in 1941 called Operation Bumper carried out in England in 1941 and am looking for any info or pics. Primary reason is that it was carried out in my locality, North Buckinghamshire, South Northants and Bedfordshire. It was a big op to see where the army was going wrong after the disaster of Dunkirk, from what I know the op itself highlighted the problems. It was a large undertaking with over 250,000 troops involved, some of them I believe were Canadian. Can anyone shed any light on this?
