| Identify this! thread!

Here's another little mystery, with a couple of clues. We can see by the tag and part number it is something from GM-H and it says it's a side light cover. Does anyone have any idea what it might belong to? t's painted khaki and I can't find the number in the parts books I have.

| While you're at it...

...here's another little mystery. It's diecast and must be military because it has the DD stamp. It is a spare spark plug holder threaded for the smaller type plug as used in the Chev engine. Any ideas?

| Identified

Keith, 5814160 is the shield that the wires to headlamp, side lamp and horn pass through after exiting the hull of a Canadian Fox armoured car. Oddly enough, I have the left one (see pic), but you seem to have the right one...which I need. You wouldn't want to send one of those back to Canada would you? Quote:

| By George!

That is quite amazing and leads me to wonder why there are some here in Australia - I can only think they were supplied with the chassis sent here intended for our unsuccessful local version. Wil send you a PM. Quote:

| Here's something else which needs confirmation

This seems to fit the cab 12 Ford headlamps. I was wondering whether anyone can confirm this. If so I have a few available for $20 each.
