Default no.22 Liaison HQ

Hi to all,

under command Montys 21st Army group, 1944-45, was no.22 liaison HQ,

search wartime pictures vehicles this British unit, all vehicles or bike or armour

have serial number "120", white number on dark backing,

on armour vehicles was write big inscription "BRITISH", on the front,

for example is here picture Humber.

The BRITISH marking may well be just post-war. A chap I knew who served with Canadian Army in Berlin post-war has photos of his jeep with CANADA painted on front.

have few more pictures this Humbers,

and this pictures is 8.may or 15.may 1945, western Czech (Bohemia),

and have copy orig. order for marking all vehicles no.22 liaison HQ,

but its not post war order,

About vehicles this unit have only few info, becouse in archive is

"only" write "truck 15cwt, 3t, arm.command car, Crom. (tank Cromwell???)

dispache rider," etc.

For me is this is very interesting British unit, becouse was with Czechoslovak brigade and in the may 1945 go to Czech country,

On pictures have from this unit Humber, AEC command arm.truck, Morris Tilly

Bedford MWD, Dodge 3T, and info about jeeps, motorcycles, Austin Tilly, Cromwell (?), Dingo(?),
