Default Australian carrier brakes

HI

We are in the process of working on our brakes as they weren't adequate to get carrier to steer, On inspection they still seemed to have enough lining left but were very dirty and glazed over, We were going to try and clean and roughen up but having the hubs and tracks off thought we would look at getting shoes re-bonded. When we got a quote they said they were pretty poor and one pair of shoes was different to the other one set being woven so we decided to go ahead and get them re-bonded and riveted.

Have to put them back together now, We noticed that one adjuster is missing its cap and so the wedge can come out, one side is of a different taper to the other so when the angle on the adjusters rest against this wedge one would think one will sit in further, Is there a correct orientation for this wedge

Thanks Eben
