Where do you start?
I just purchased my first restoration project. A 1946 Willys CJ-2A for $300.00. Motor and drive train all in working order, just the rest is a tad rough..understatement. Once a Canadian service truck, I can just see the shadow of the serial on the hood.
I want to strip it down and rebuild her but o'gods where do you begin. I understand the "cab" is a after market item that was offered for jeeps and I'm not sure when it was added. Lots of tin missing and some cracks in the frame. I think I'm just going to photo document it and then start stripping her down. Hope that's the right path.
