Bombing of Darwin

My father was a crew member of the depot ship in Darwin harbour , HMAS Platypus , he witnessed the first raid on 19th Feb. He told me he was in a row boat in the harbour , the ship Neptuna exploded . Anyway he only told me bits and pieces , its the sort of thing the vets didn't discuss
