Searching for 25pdr Carriage 9171 - In Canada?
A long shot - no pun intended.
I am trying to find out where 25pdr, Carriage No 9171, Barrel L28858 may be living now. The reason, quite simply I happened across an AB 402 gun record book (1973 to 1978). It shows this was with Junior Leaders Regt RA during those years and am advised by a chap in the UK who has an ex-JLR RA 25pdr that 9171 might have gone to Canada. If anyone here owns this gun, I would be happy to part with the paperwork at minimal cost. Otherwise I will keep the documentation for my collection. Cheers Tim
