Hello,
Does anybody have any good drawings or pictures (from the inside) of the flexible bow gun mounting of a Besa on a tank? I'm assuming that mounting was similar on all British tanks that mounted the Besa in a bow position. What kind of sight/optic did the mounting use? Thank you. |

It wasn’t the same on all tanks: the Churchill had a kind of squarish internal gun shield while the Cromwell and Comet used a ball mount, for example. I’m not having any luck finding pictures of the latter two online, though here’s a video that shows the Churchill’s Besa mounting:
