Default Dodge D15 T222

I am trying to verify the date of build of a Dodge D15 T222 model, chassis no. 9107 2658 for the purpose of providing an Age Related letter for the DVLA to register the vehicle.
I can find no information regarding chassis number/DOB so can anybody guide me towards a reference?
There are very few of these vehicles in the UK, the US Dodge sources are of no use so MLU is my last hope.

Tony,

Some good info here: http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/sh...d.php?p=297073

Do you know the contract number for the truck?

Pete Ashby's D15 has a chassis number which is close...and the data plate does give a date for his.

So, yours would be built "after" 14-8-1943 (?)

Are you still running the model shop?

Tony,

It appears that you may need to confirm the digits in the serial number.

According page 9-1 of this source, serial number 91072658 should belong to a T-110-L-5 (D60-L): https://armyvehiclemarking.com/wp-co...compressed.pdf

The 15 May 1945 Retroactive Parts List for D60-L also shows that your stated serial number belongs to a D60-L rather than a D15.

Please have look at the other D15 thread that Alex linked for more images of the D15 serial number list.

Perhaps the 7 in your serial number is actually a 1. If so, it would be correct for a D15.

As for the date, the 15 Jan 1943 D15 Parts list covered up to serial number 91052625.

Colin

Thanks for the input - attached are a couple of photos of the plate and the vehicle. The number is definitely as I stated. The engine is not original but of the period
