Brad: A bit of interpretation, please. In your post, you mention top rack...are you looking for the horizontal rack upon which mounts the J1 Box and 4 Way Box, or are you referring to the horizontal metal rack which was part of the Instructional Set ( housing the ATU, with Ae mounted atop)? Also, "B" set : There is no such thing as a "B" Set on a RS C42 Station. Perhaps you might be thinking of a J2 Box, used in RRB?

Sorry, Brad, don't think I can help you. Is that a B47 atop the 42?...if so, then your Ferret is in Brit comms configuration, I guess??? Typically, the "usual" 42 set installation in a Canadian Ferret was as depicted, up to the tray with the handles. On that tray was mounted the 4 way box to the left and a bit forward, then the J1 box to the right and slightly set back. There's most likely hole patterns on that top tray which don't apply the to the "B47". Edit:  Hey, was that pic of someone else's Ferret, and you were trying to show what you needed for your own Ferret?

OK, we're sorted out now. If you e-mail Brian Gough, he may be able to help. I actually gave him a 42 set virtually complete at last year's CC3 get together. Last I have for him is" briangough@sympatico.ca
