Doctors


1. The number of doctors in Canada is 700,000


2. Accidental deaths caused by physicians per year are 120,000


3. Accidental deaths per physician is 17.14%

1. The number of guns owned in Canada is 80,000,000 (yes that's 80 million)


2. The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500


3. The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is 0.001875%

So statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.


Remember, guns don't kill people, doctors do.

Not so fast, my lad... you have to actually GET a doctor before he can kill you. "Sorry, no new patients, so piss off" is a recurring theme over here now. Because of socialized medicine, lots of the buggers have migrated to the States where they can earn their Porsches in a fraction of the time. I haven't had a doctor in about six years, and when I stumbled into several clinics with a broken toe last week, I was politely sent packing (without advice or treatment). I'll trust guns, thank you, at least I understand them...

Oh so very wise Master R., it is good of you to be so protective of people who aren't aware of these statistics ... your foresight is most commenable!

Doctors kill you while using you as a guinee pig to try and learn how to save you and thats why so many doctors push for gun control so they can have a shot at practicing saving you cause they don't know how and they will kill you trying? (very profitable for them til they actually kill you)
