Hi Ron
As promised. These are images of the famous #3375 from the 1942 Manual. Best quality reproduction I have at this time. Bob |

This one is from the 1943 Manual. Although all the tools are now on the rear, the configuration of the lower plate is identical to the earlier Carrier.

Here are the various clips. These images are from a parts book dated 2.3.43 but would be the same as for the earlier Carrier.

And finally, the ammunition box holder. If the detail on any of these is not good enough, let me know and I'll send direct.

This was far and away the nicest Carrier at Corowa, and the stowage was fairly complete, too.

Ron
I have a description in a handbook for the vickers from 1930: "Post, zero, M.G., Mark I The post is of iron, 3 feet long and 1/2 an inch in diameter. The upper end is formed as a ring 4 inches in diameter, the lower end being pointed." I then measured up the location of the brackets on the carrier, and from memory the sleeve at the rear is just over 4 inches high, so the ring must be 4 inches outside diameter. Rob |
