Signal light bracket?

Somebody has told me that on a carrier there should be a bracket to attach a signalling light. This bracket is normally mounted on the bulk head in the front compartment just to the left of the passengers head.
Is this true? Does anybody have a picture?

I dont know much about them ,but the O.P. carriers had them.
They were mounted in the corner as you say, the steel rod swung up and clipped into place. the clip appears different between the riveted and welded O.P.s. I have no idea what the light looks like.

Not sure but could this be the bracket that you are looking for.

Is on the front of an AOP.
