Good luck Ron, I take it you need this for the front steering link adjustables- I was unable to find a locknut for that thread let alone a die or die nut. Reccomend you either get someone with a thread cutting lathe to run over it if possible or the trusty old thread file....
By the way need to come out & see the new shed, and are you still needing a carrier steer yoke? Rob |

Ron here is a suggestion.
Ring 08 8388 6457 not on wednesday, and speak to Michael Sheehan, please use me as a point of introduction. Michael is a dedicated restorer, but his interest extends back prior to WW1. If any one can find you a source he will. Regards Col

McMaster-Carr have 5 different versions of 1/2-20 UNF LH dies, starting from US$2.54! (From their home page, go to the "Machining and Clamping" area and click on "Dies", then 1/2-20, then Left Hand Thread.)
Unfortunately, McMaster-Carr have gone funny with the War on Terror and will no longer ship overseas, only continental North America. That's a shame as their catalogue listings provide hours of fun searching. Perhaps someone here on the Forum will be able to help out with shipping? |

Ron Michael is the very best, A walk in his shed will be an experience never forgotten.
The guy himself is a great person, who would rather help than hinder. Michael and I used to work at Chrysler together, and he owns the hardware shop at Nairne. This is on the old highway, going from Mount Barker to Murray Bridge. He is never there on Wednesday because that is his resupply day. Regards Col
