DAF YA126 Weapons Carrier

Helping a fellow collector with his DAF truck he just acquired. The truck will not start, no spark at the plugs. My question is: I would like to confirm that the coil is 6 volt, I beleive the resistor drops it from 24 volt to 6Volt. Are there any other collectors in North America with a DAF that I could contact if I have further questions.
