The 40MM mount looks different

The mount for the 40MM looks different from what I have seen before on CMPs, below are a couple of different 40MM CMP mounts that have appeared before in MLU. None of the ones seem to be as high off the bed as this new one. Can anybody shed any light on the difference? Wonder if the one above was a prototype. Seems that it would have an awful lot of kick when fired at low flying target. But it another in piece of that giant jigsaw puzzle of CMPs. Cheers Phil

I think you will find it is the angle the photo was taken at that makes it appear higher.
