Default Vickers Light Tank MkVIA or B

Can anyone help with some photos of the engine for these tanks.
Lube diagram, or hopefully a rebuild with the engine out.
I am interested in the block shape, and fittings. Hpefully gearbox/drive details as well.

I have the Tank Museum plan pack, but this only gives a general outline. I have photos of a four cylinder, and details of earlier Meadows engines fitted to the Light Dragon MkII.

I believe it was the Meadows ESTB, and have seasrched the internet for info, and come up with nothing at all.

For those that know me, I have started my own website at www.mooresmilitarymodels.co.uk

Thanks in advance for any info.

George.

I visited your site and enjoyed it. I am only interested in 1:1 scale but your work is amazing. I sent you a message via your site about the "wooden rests"

nice site George. Do you make the wheels and tyres on your models or are they 'kit' pieces?

Default Vickers etc

Thanks guys, and glad you like the website.

It will get updated as things progress.

1st, Vickers interior, not sure yet, gathering as much info as pos and in the planning stage. Certainly needs a lot of work though, and I have some projects to finish. The Morris CS9 armoured car is to be released soon.

Lynn, I did reply. and want to say thanks again publicly. Only through this type of feed-back can things be improved.

The tyres, a bit of a mix of kit and mastered parts.
The AEC were kit parts thinned down as the tyres were an odd width.

Others, I usually draw in two dimensions, then send off to a contact who does them in CAD. They then go to a company in the UK who "prototype them" in a resin. Too expensive to do a run, so we take the prototype and cast that.
There is a great company in the states, however, the format they require is different. Still working on it though.

Thanks again, you 1:1 ers are a great inspiration, and the information has helped enormously.

George
