Default OldCMP site is down

Have experienced so many problems with the server in the US I have decided to change to another - it may take a little while for it to reappear so please accept my apologies and be patient - hopefully be sorted early next week.

Default Thanks

The main reason it's going to be down for longer than it should is the details I need to change it are at work and I won't have access until Monday.

What's a hhassle? A double aspirated "sometimes" vowel?

if I wasn't already bald I would be tearing my hair out, I might actually have to work instead of "researching".

Well, I'm sure glad to hear that you won't be hurting yourself and making your head bleed from the torn out roots then

Gosh, wouldn't have a clue, it just looked good on the screen.

Some misread it as Old Campsite.

Default Yes...

It's only sort of back - hope to have it fully operational next week - you'll notice some bits are missing but I'll tidy it up once I again have upload access.

Greetings
Chris

PS Had a virus on my PC and some trouble setting up the machine. Now I'm back again...

Hi Chris

Yes, there is STILL a problem - the guy organising the site has left it in a semi-active space on his server - I can't access it or fix it

I have also been too busy with work to chase him but will be going after him this week!

Default Getting back

OK so there have been some steps in the right direction and I am assured it will be back in it's happy little domain before too long.

In the meantime I at least have access again but the downside is it's via a proxy server which means I can't post links of individual pages.

But if you go to oldcmp.net and navigate to the updates page you'll see there are some new galleries, including one covering the events of today, October 27th where at least 3 Ford F15s were mobile in some way in Australia.

Euan and I took one to his father-in-law's place and we also brought back a partially restored chassis, which has been sandblasted and painted but has weathered a little so it will be re-prepped and painted soon.

And the third mobile F15? Well Howard Holgate will no doubt have something to post in his F15 thread very soon.

Onward and upward!

Here we are in the grip of the most horrendous drought the area has seen in recorded history, and the one day I get to go & play trucks, and it rains! Dammit!
Not even the farmers want rain now because they have cut the remains of their crops for hay. Now it seems even this hay is ruined & facing rot as it lays in wet paddocks. Sux, dunnit?
I did, however, attend a clearing sale on Saturday & picked up 3x smow chains which I suspect (hope) are CMP. Ill post some photos for ID of the chains soon.
