Hi Guys,
About two weeks ago I visited a modeling meeting from our dutch military modeling club. The event was held in the Dutch Cavalry museum in Amersfoort. New to me was the Ram Tank they had on display. I knew they had the Ram, but when I visited the museum the last time, the Ram had disappeared. Now, its clear why.....it was recently restored externally! I also bought a copied version of the "Parts list" for the Ram mk2. So......I am gathering more and more info for a model of a Ram Kangaroo.... (p.s. Hanno, if you read this, someone is building a Ram OP in 1/35 on track-link.net. Take a look at "Modeller Build Logs".) Also on display are: CMP C15TA Armored car, Universal carrier, Staghound etc. etc. Alex |

Here is it's sister vehicle, "GIJS", now painted up as CT-159602 at Bovington. It was originally destined for a Dutch museum, sent to be repainted at a REME workshop in Germany, and cunningly swapped for a Grizzly. Although I was sad to see it leave the country, at least Bovington is taking good care of it.
Both these Rams are fitted with the British 75-mm gun. These are not Command/OP tanks. With all apertures welded shut, it is believed these are small arms target training tanks. H.

Have a look at this Alex and see if it will help with plans to build a Ram Kangaroo. Derek.
