Default Tried here

Dave,

The obvious is http://www.yellowpages.com.au

Try under 'Carriers Heavy'.

Try in Coffs Harbour area.

Ask the company if they know someone. I have got onto a few good companies out of this.

I don't have a 5 tonne truck like some lucky guys in CMP land.

Other way is to charter a tilt tray truck with a beaver tail. (under Tilt Tray? in the yellow pages)

Or try here http://www.loadshift.com.au/

It is ok as well.

Ian

Hi Dave,
Do you know the size/weight of the truck?
In it a Morris Commercial?
How urgent is it?
We may be able to help you if you are not in a hurry?
Jeff

yes its a early morris commerial, no bed, no doors no rear of cab, flat tires, more in rellic condition but savable. should be in around 1800 lb or so. has frame, drive train, motor hood fenders, firewall etc. no hurry, not at all. can not pick up till next year but i just want it moved from the wrecking yard to the father in laws house less than 2 km from the main highway.

Default Good Job Tim Tam

Now while you are at it, how about getting rid of all the Austin Champs and Land Rovers. That would be a big contribution to cleaning up Oz.
