Mark,
Can't help directly, but try following up some of the posts on Dodge APT's on the old MLU Forum - see Google search results for "Dodge APT" and click on "Cached". Hope this helps, Hanno |

Mark, in addition to the 236 engine previously discussed I may also be able to provide an entire rear (rusty but intact) box. Problem is that both are in Ontario and you are not. Robert in Toronto

can you post a picture of the truck, i think i know what you are looking for, but not positive. i call the cmp trucks the flat nose ones. i'm located in lynn lake mb and there is lots of military stuff up here that was used for the defense of the northern country. the airmuseum in brandon mb needed a bus as part of their collection and sure enough 35 miles in the bush, used as a cabin is a wayne bus, with the all aluminum body. so off to the air museum it went. thanks |

Do you mean body type "BOX" or gearbox? Dodge gearboxes have the same internal parts as the Ford 4 speed truck gearboxes and new gears, shafts and bearings are available from the likes of Mac's Antique Auto parts in NY. For Dodge engine parts, try Vintage Power Wagons, who might also have early gearbox parts.

Rick Yuke in Canada has an APT that he has been working on very slowly. Here is a link to a picture of it as it was found just outside of Regina: http://www.geocities.com/rickyyuke/classic_tan.html
Rick was able to get the truck to run as is, and when he gave it a good wash most of the red paint came right off. |
