Default FC60 (??) in West Africa

Many moons ago I promised to add this photo from an album I picked up.

I belive it is from the training of 4 Nigeria Regt (4NR) 6 Bde, 81st (West African) Div and was taken probably in early 1943. The regiment went to India in July '43. If I have wrongly identified the vehicle please correct

It is an MCP (Modified Civilian Pattern) 1941 Ford 3 ton. Thanks for sharing the photo.

Thanks for the pic, David.

It seems to be a Ford FC60L (or C298TFS), a 3-ton 4x2 GS truck with 158in wheelbase and 95-hp V8 engine and a two-speed rear axle. It had typical MCP features like right-hand drive, 10.50-16 tyres on British split rims and a Canadian-built cargo body.

Regards,
Hanno
