Default Chev C60 Fairleads

G'Day i,m a brand new member so forgive me if there are mistakes in the post process.I'm hoping someone can assist me on the layout of rear fairleads.I don't have any as yet but I am chasing a set up.The C15A was my wifes grandfathers, i drove it out of his back yard 8 weeks ago after 29 years of resting. We are in the process of restoring the old girl with all intentions of surprising grandpa by driving it back to visit him when it's finished.I will post some more pictures after I pick it up from the sand blasters today. Thanks John Stokes.

G'day John and good to see you finally made it here!

You can drop back over to my place sometime to see the fairleads on the back of the gun tractor if you like. They don't turn up too often but can be found.

Note to Jim: John is a local here in Victoria, Australia.

Default Fairlead Problem

Australia Jim and thank you for the pics .Looks like i need to extend the rear section after the cross member to allow all this to mount to something.I have a Ford tow hook and spring assy but as you know it's not really the correct one and no fairleads.

Default Back from the sandblasters

Just a few shots of progress. The white paint is polly something that the sandblaster coated it in after blasting. Very hard to remove as i found out when cleaning the knuckles. The red C60 is my helper at this stage until i need parts for the restorer.Came complete with 2 winches two 2 speed transfers to drive the crane.Best of all a 235 engine perfect for the resto.I plan to keep the C60 running by replacing the 235 with the 216 that came out of the C15A.
