Default Springtime Gracies Call

This is a warning order only!

The Rotters will convene in March to celebrate the Vernal Equinox. Odd orders of dress will be required as we worship our inanimate objects (mind you some of them do move) and pray to the gods of iron oxide, whilst imbibing liquid barley sandwiches.

Options for meeting dates will be announced once the Principal Officers of the Rotter Nation come to an agreement.

It would appear that our Guest of Honour will be from the deep south (Windsor, ON). Hopefully, he will bring his Rotter Hat.

More to follow.

Default Its a date, Big Boy!

Hi Clive:

I could RV with you somewhere, "over there"- London, p'raps?

I have considered popping over to France but the 60th was such a zoo I wasn't sure if I wanted to get stuck in the traffic, as it were.

I will land at Heathrow on Fri, 29 May ay 0600 ish and depart on Mon, 9 Jun at 1030 ish. Between the two dates I intend to visit family and friends in the UK, hit several museums and try to take in a HMV show or two.

Maybe we can pay Hanno and the George C Marshal museum a visit? I've wanted to see his Kangaroo for some time.

Gotta do something memorable for my 50th BDay!

Mike

I'm OK with the 27th. I just have to check in with my designated driver - Guy?

Rob, what's wrong with April fool's day? (The headquarters types claim the airforce was born on the first day of the Government's fiscal year, the workers know the truth.......)

I prefer 27 March over 3 April for work duty reasons. For the same reasons, I won't be available the weekend of 3-5 Apr for any recovery projects you might have in mind.

Tentatively OK for the 27th, but as always subject to confirmation of course....

If this is the case, any chance of a place to crash that night? It's probably me only, have to leave the cats at home this time.

The 27th is good for me...... I have checked the roster and by pure chance, I am the duty driver for this date...... therefore...........all participants from the Hammond barn and area can reserve their ride.....

Alex, Please book the venue - perhaps we can get the observation post we had last time.

Rotters! Email your friends and associates and extend an invite.

Guy, I would be pleased to act as the Desiginated Drinker if you are up to carry out the duties of Designated Driver.

See ya at Gracies!

Default screening Room

Alex, May as well reserve the screen. Maybe Gunner will show some candid snaps of blue assed baboons (no relation that I am aware of) and some rusty trucks. I like the way the locals scratch their heads when we show up at Gracies.

RH...
The count down has begun...
Gracie's is booked and the usual spot reserved for the ROTters ...
It is now Tuesday afternoon and I'm getting dryer by the minute...
I would Imagine that Mike T should be on the road soon If he plans on showing up at Gracies on time for the parade at 17:00Hrs on Friday the 27th...
Being a little early is excusable..being a minute late gets you in the digger...or that is the way it used to be...
Bring any Vets with y'all as guests ...We all would enjoy their company...
Welcome one and all that like the Rusty Old Trucks..
17:00Hrs...2 bells on the first dog watch...or for you Rob...The big hand is on 12 and the little hand is on 5...in the afternoon...

The only reason Alex is never late for a Gracie's Call, is that he goes there every day of the designated week at opening time and stays there until the last dog is hung...this is odd, as the airforce types usually know instinctively when it is happy hour.

I got word from the missus - she will be coming along to Gracies with my Mark III. So, Alex, no eyebrow licking until she departs for home...

Guy, if your offer still stands, I'll jump in with you for the ride home.

Greg,

Sorry that you can't make the meeting. We will volunteer you for something in absentia. I know we will all feel safer in the knowledge that you an your brethren stand on guard just in case things get too hot. Rest assured that we will not willingly see another Rotter establishment fall victim to the flame!

Mind you, more than a few of our ilk will get lit up.
