Default C60X

These are from the manual and are converted from imperial:

Wheelbase is 4.06m
Overall length 6.2m
Height to top of cab 2.3m
Width 2.1m

GVM is 8.16 tonnes

Cab/chassis weight is not given but it would have to be in the vicinity of 4.5 tonnes.

Default thanks

thanks keith
much appreciated
just trying to work out if it was worth the transport and purchase costs to pick it up .If it fits on a 20 foot dog trailer transport costs would be reasonable otherwise it was prohibitive

Default C60X transport

Hi Andrew:

We haul our C60X on a 20 foot, 10 ton, three axle float behind a 1952 GMC M135... no problems.

I'm not sure what your towing combo is so I hope this helps!

I tried to post a photo but, as usual, i can't seem to get the size right!

Mike

I know, I know, "no comments from the bleachers!" saith the Major... well, sir, you clot, send the bloody pictures to me and I'll fix them and send them back! And I'll even do it for free, since you initiated me into the wonders of 6pdr open-range gunnery. So there.

I'm rebuilding a GMC 270 to go into a C60x. I'm having trouble finding out what the sump should look like. The one I have has a what looks like an extension soldered to rear and is an odd shape like it might be like this to miss the diff. Is this the one I need.

Default 270 sump

Ric

I have a 270 engine out of a C60x here in the work shop with the head and oil pan off. If you could contact by by e-mail through MLU I can send you some pictures of what I have here.

Gordon
