Follow the link and watch the video. In it, you can see a Ford CMP STARTING AND RUNNING UNDER IT'S OWN POWER!!! Now that's a rare event you don't see very often!! Last edited by Bruce Parker (RIP); 26-05-09 at 21:29. |

Myke et al,
Loved the video! I am really impressed with the Ford "HUP" on steroids. Keep spreading the word.

"He discovered a wider military community and met people, like Mike Timoshyk, just as concerned about preserving vehicles and their historic past.
Timoshyk spent 311/2 years in the Canadian navy, moved from British Columbia to Windsor and joined the naval reserve here. He owns two vintage Jeeps and is restoring a 1942 Ford F15A truck, designated a Canadian Military Pattern 15 cwt." When I met Mike at the last Gracey's beer call, he didn't seem a day over 150yrs old!

Hanno,
I had a wonderful experience and a unique opportunity to speak to the gentleman in the mural who was wearing the cap and goggles. He was a teenager during the war and was a test driver for the Carriers and CMPs built by Ford. He is still alive today and in good health for his age. Cheers Mike Timoshyk |
