Default Swiss Ward la France...

hi folks!

I'm sandro and come from switzerland ^^ i'm 15 years old and in the
education ^^

i'm working at the museum from my father and his friend i began with 10 years we are 5 mans and it's always funny. i like military vehicle very much! tanks are my favourites especially the centurion has it me done

i drived the first time a tank with 14 with us centurion before i was always in the turred ^^

www.militaermuseumwildegg.ch sorry the pics are old! now we've got alot more ! for carrier fans : we've got a t16 (only 3 in switzerland 2from the military and us one )

so ...

after other vehicle restorations we startet with a ward la france we work always at saturday.always funny .

the full truck was in a good contidion an the engine runs very good. we have new tires and axles yesterday was day 5

ooh the last 10 pictures are from yesterday !! i began at the other end of the pics^^ sorry now comes the right 5 weeks ago :P

the pics from above show's the front axle ( all is new greased! ) in all axles we change the oil!
it was veryvery dirty !

to put down the crane was easy ( we work with us saurer gottwald ) but to solve all the screw's under the makers was hart! then all had a hangover at this day ^^

at all screws was the thread recut!

without the crane it was better to wash the chassis but it was the fived time we washed the WLF ^^

but after this wash he was very clean

the grease was not the best... so we change it

the brakes work all and the pads was grindet:P

the axle shafts are out and the oil was out .



i know my english is not very good^^ but in in the school you don't learn word about vehicles and technical words

at the place where are the air tanks we work with the needle pistole and after i grounding all, then we paintet it

Your English is very understandable, please feel free to chatter along.

I met Rick last summer when he was touring Europe, he told me he was going to visit some people in Switzerland as well. He´s on this forum too and no doubt will chime in soon.

Rick and I were at this meeting in Kradolf, where we met Sandro and had a brilliant drive with their T16 around the muddy pit.

it was nice to see you there but that was my first drive with the uc , so it was not very good^^


here 3 pics of new panitet parts...
the coloer is calling " schattenschwarz " or "shadow black " it's a swiss military coloer, a lot g13's are in this coloer..

now all brakes set and new grease .
the airtanks now mounted and a the oilpant was cleaned.
then the rims cleaned and groundet.

then came 3 man who paint a biiiiiiiiig picture! i've never seen something like that before!!!! pics later

which color should we paint the engine?

red will be nice but a lot small parts are red..
the gearbox is in a dark green and i think that's the original color!

what do you think ?

DAY 7

today i work long with the needle gun..
then new oil in the engine and gearbox .. the tanks are ready, but we haved problem with one fuel-watch. =( then we put in new air lines in (plastic lines but only this where going to the crane! then we watched for the exhaust (we have new tubes from saurer trucks then we build anything with that^^
then we musst revised the winch (now she runs not very good)

engine is ready to paint.. but which color? ^^
