In the Loyd Carrier Illustrated Parts Book that I have there is no section for the V8 or Gearbox. Was there a special publication which covered the V8s which was common to all vehicles? The Workshop Manual does cover the engine and Gearbox.

Apparently none of the Loyd Parts Books cover the engine / gearbox, but some of the late war UC parts books cover the Loyd engines, Adrian B is sending me a copy in the post so I don't know as yet if the UC book mentions Loyds in as many works or we are just supposing. There is a paragraph about engins in the Loyd parts book I have at home, which I think mentions somewhere else to look but I don't have it to hand yet, so I could be mistaken.

Whilst the UC parts list does not cover Loyd per se, it does cover it as far as engine and gearbox is concerned.
In the front is a list of all types of carriers except Windsor and T16 and it describes the differences between them. As to Loyd, it is either to do with brakes, engine, track adjuster or role. The parts list covers US, Canadian and British engines.
