Default Satin?

Judging by all the warnings on it Gary. It may be an improvised explosive device.

Default Opinions on colour......

.... that is a delicate issue.....

It may have more shine than flat flat OD.....

Can you get it in gallons and add a flatening agent....? and use gasoline as thinner before spaying with a gun........?

You would need to have a sample of flat green to really compare.

I would be tempted to use it as a basic primer to be topped off with the proper flat OD shade..... Rustoleum as a good reputation for properly sealing stell parts.

Bottom line it is your truck...... work on getting it running and useable.......and if the same shade is used on the full truck it will look good.

Default It's a price thing

I reckon I can use standard grey primer and proper OD, bought from a dealer, cheaper than I could by RUSTOLEUM from the likes of Halfrauds.

It might have its uses as a standby can for small parts where you just want to get paint on, but I'd experiment with proper OD on top to see if it stuck first.

Default Wear Testing

Looks the part but is a little shiny. Leave it outside in the sun and rain for a few weeks and then compare the colour to the original colour. Some of these paints age "in the right direction". Like Bob said, it's your truck, so anything goes!
