Default C39Q Truck

In David Hayward's thread on Ford US trucks for RAF, Egypt, mention was made of a C39QB Bofors truck.
My Ford F60L has a tag on the cab rear bulkhead marked:
"39Q"
"81"
"6145"

This rear bulkhead has no provision for any door lock strikers, no slot for Aussie canvas doors, yet has a roof fitted to an otherwise normal 13 cab. The metal work has not been welded over or patched, it's neat as a pin. It is not a 43 cab as normally seen on the Bofors trucks.

What does a C39Q truck look like? Did they have doors?

Australia dabbled in the development of a self-propelled Bofors truck on an F60L chassis, but it did not have a rear bulkhead on the cab. I don't think these Aussie trucks got beyond the trial stage, anyway.

The self-propelled Bofors mounted on an F60S chassis with 43 cab had an entirely different width to the standard 13 cab rear bulkhead.

Default F60S

The F60S / Ford Model C39QB in the previous photo was assembled by Pearson's in Liverpool. The C39QB was with the F60T [Model C395Q] the only apparent 1943 Model Fords.
