Default WS-19 Radio ""CARRIER

Greetings everyone just 7 days before Christmas. I need a "carrier" for my WS-19 radio set. It will go in a T-16 Carrier I am restoring.

Thanks, Knox Herndon ><>

Default Hiya- good luck!

Hi matey- sadly I've only seen one carrier of late and snapped it up for my WS19 set. If you have troubles getting hold of one though, I'd be happy to send a few pics as it wouldn't be TOO hard to make one up with a little time and patience... :u)
Best wishes from Ireland
David

Default WS-19 Radio "carrier"

Thanks David for your reply. Yes I would appreciate pix for the WS-19 carrier. I had one in the past with a Ferret but that was a while back and I sold my "Wireless for the Warrior" excellent book that had the pix of the carriers in it.

Thanks again, I look forward to the pix.

Default Reproductions

Hello A collector/restorer in Adelaide was making good reproduction mounting trays. I have one in my collection and it is good enough for museum display and holds the set firmly enough to use in a vehicle offroad as well !

His name is Andrew Tostevin and although I don't seem to have an up to date contact he is well known to Mike Kelly and Bob Mosely...

Good luck

Phill

I think he's the bloke who made the carrier for my 11 set. I changed the pop rivets for actual rivets. Excellent job. Ron

I too couldn't find an original one for my Mk1* Carrier so I ended up making one. It wasn't too hard to do.
