Today I found this interesting link hope you people like this. Its an Army vehicle registration books on the Australian War Memorial website. I think it's only for the Australian region.
It contains - Army Registration Number (ARN) - Type and make - Engine number - Chassis or maker's serial number - Details of changes to registration - Details of eventual disposal of vehicles. https://www.awm.gov.au/collection/C1424610

The books have been available for review at the Australian War Memorial Research Centre for many years, but have only recently been digitised for online viewing.
See the discussion here: http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=26630 Note too that the books do not cover the "Australian Region", they are only for vehicles registered in the Australian Army. They do not cover Navy, Air Force or Civil Government vehicles. |
