Default Carrier wheel rubber

Has anyone in the UK got a contact for someone who can re-rubber carrier wheels. Specifically a friend needs an idler wheel re-done. Or can anyone sell him one. Cheers, Ron

Ron there is a place in Gloucester we were trying out....Martyn has all the contact details as we wanted to run a test wheel before committing to getting loads done. the cost was circa £55 per wheel based on them receiving the casts clean and free of grease and rubber. this price was also based on us providing a minimum of 15 wheels otherwise the price is £69 / wheel. Martyn may be able to advise if he has been in touch with them.

Thanks for the replys. Have you got any contact details for these firms. My friend would be quite happy to go for a single wheel higher price. Ron

Hi Ron,

Last weekend I was at a military trade show and was told about a company in Belgium that supposedly has loads off these carrier wheels NOS. I will investigate this lead and let you know.

Cheers,

I saw quite a few at a yard in Belgium a couple of weeks ago. None were new and some were quite worn but many were usable. I will be going back soon, I'll ask a price.
