Default In Rommel's Back Yard

Took the new LRDG F30 out to play in the gravel pit last Sunday. Yes, they were that bright pink in late 1942. This is a copy of the truck on the front of Alastair Timpson's book "In Rommel's Back Yard".
The Chev is on location for the series "Narrow Escapes" which is now on Channel 13 (UK TV) on Monday evenings. It was the star in a programme about trooper Ron Moore's epic march.

Paul,

Great restoriation (again)!

PS: I saw some pictures on HMVF showing why it was "tickled pink"

Thanks Hanno,
I hope they explained the colour scheme correctly. Anyone in doubt, read the book! P.S. I lied about Channel 13. It's Channel 12 !!
